Bad Week for White People

Gas in Chicago was over $4 a gallon yesterday.
And if things aren’t bad enough for white people, 96 fraternity bros and sorority sisters at San Diego State University got busted yesterday for slinging drugs to their runny-nosed peers. I don’t know know what is funnier about the bust, that campus cops actually went undercover to bust these kids after a young woman OD’d on coke last year (that’s the not-funny part) or that some idiotic bros sent out a text message saying “We’re going to close out our inventory…buy cocaine at discounted prices.”
Selling drugs is like liquidating carpet? Who knew? Why have I wasted so many years trying to figure out how to ask my small-time pot dealer for an eighth, “Hey dude, can I come and pick up that 8-page pharmacology book tonight?”
These kids are lucky to be middle class college students with parents in their corner willing to argue that expulsion is too heavy a punishment. If they were non-white and/or non-college students, they might experience something more like this:
